Richard Hasenpflug founded R.L. Hasenpflug & Associates in 1985 around the concept of bringing Fortune 100 expertise to startups, small and mid-sized businesses, and non-profit organizations. Originally based in California's Silicon Valley, he relocated the business to Scottsdale, Arizona in 2008.

Our
focus internationally is on building strong
multi-national teams and bringing the lessons learned in Silicon Valley to
other industries and countries. We were active in Russia during the 1990s, working with
privatized state-owned companies and supporting local startups and
multinational joint ventures. We also helped create a worldwide trading
network focused primarily in Europe.
Richard Hasenpflug is passionate about building businesses and bringing clients his extensive experience in corporate finance, marketing, and business development. In addition to consulting with a variety of national and international businesess, he has participated in several startup teams as either CEO or CFO.
Prior to founding R.L. Hasenpflug & Associates,
Richard Hasenpflug held a
variety of management, development, finance, and marketing positions in
international and high-tech companies. Based in Singapore, he was Director of Finance and
Corporate Credit for Monsanto Corporation’s Asian operations for
several years, establishing corporate risk levels throughout the region and actively
working with and supporting customers. He earned his MBA in
International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in
Glendale, Arizona.
Richard Hasenpflug has also served as an officer and/or director of several industry
associations and non-profit organizations. He helped organize and run award-winning
national and international HIV/AIDS education programs and a relief program
for students and others who fell though the safety net during Russia’s
economic crisis in the 1990s. He has establish long-range financial planning capabilities
for a California school district and chaired successful school tax
campaigns. While President of the American Club of Singapore, he developed a
plan for long-term growth and financial stability. For his leadership in these and numerous other community
activities, he was named Los Altos, California's 2002 Los Altan of the Year.
